You will be working in a very dynamic team that is developing, testing and deploying an automated platform that monitors network activity in search of unauthorized copyright infringements, and gathers intelligence that later facilitates or even guides countermeasures deployed against pirates’ streams and infrastructure, to protect the value of the content for as long as possible.

Your responsibility will be to contribute to the development, testing and deployment of new code onto our platform while also ensuring the good performance during operations (Level 2 hotline).

Technical competencies

Programming skills: Python

AWS familiarity with: EC2, RDS, S3, SQS, API Gateway, Lambda, CloudFormation

MySQL

Development of standalone applications with REST endpoints

Internet and networking protocols: HTTP, TCP/IP

Experience with GitLab and Jira

Experience or knowledge in one or more of the following areas is a plus:

Video streaming tools, technologies and codecs (FFMPEG, HLS, MPEG-DASH, …)

Docker

Ansible playbooks

Object-oriented programming (Java)

React + AngularJS

OAuth 2.0, JWT and endpoint security in general

Wireshark or similar network analysis tool

Background

Prior experience working in Agile teams in a DevOps role

Experience with Cloud deployments A Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science

Soft Skills A DevOps mindset

Good written and spoken English

Sharp analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
