Who We Look For đŠ We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our Engineering team.
This is a hands-on role where youâll contribute to building reliable, scalable, and resilient infrastructure on AWS, supporting developer productivity through automation and platform tools.
Youâll treat infrastructure as a product, not just a support layer â and as you grow , youâll take on increasing ownership of the systems you help build.
If youâre curious, communicative, proactive, and excited to level up your skills while collaborating with a global team, this role is for you!
What You Will Do đ
- Contribute to building and improving tools for deployment, monitoring, observability, and security.
- Partner with product and engineering teams to support infrastructure design, scaling, and automation.
- Identify opportunities to automate workflows and create self-service features for developers.
- Join the on-call rotation and respond to incidents as a first line of support.
- Provide operational support to engineering teams through a kanban-based request flow.
- Write clear documentation and playbooks, and share knowledge through workshops and best practices.
- Collaborate with external vendors during integrations and incident troubleshooting.
- Experience with infrastructure automation on AWS (or another major cloud).
- Good knowledge of Linux systems administration.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes.
- Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language (Python, Go, or Shell).
- Familiarity with observability, incident response, and troubleshooting.
- Strong communication skills: youâre clear, proactive, and collaborative.
- A customer-first mindset: you treat internal developers like customers and care about their experience.
- Growth mindset: you seek feedback, ask good questions, and are eager to continuously improve.
- Fluent in English.
NICE TO HAVE đ
- Experience with Terraform or other infrastructure-as-code tools.
- Prior experience working in a distributed, global team across time zones.

TO FEEL AT HOME đïž IN SHOPFULLY YOU NEED đŻ
- Progress Over Perfection: We move forward. Always. In a fast-moving world, speed with purpose beats certainty without action. Momentum mattersânot for its own sake, but because it drives results.
- Clarity Through Transparency: We bring each other along. We work in teams, not silos. Transparency gives context, and context enables action. That means we share decisions early, publish work in progress, and document outcomes so others can learn, move faster, and build better.
- Learn Loudly: We grow by doing and by daring. Big bets unlock big breakthroughs. But real innovation demands risk, and risk always carries the possibility of failure. Thatâs not a flaw. Itâs the price of ambition.
- Challenge with Empathy: We speak up, even when itâs hardâbecause candor shows care, and leads to better outcomes. Listening deeply is how we grow. Disagreeing openly is how we build trust.
- Affiliates shall mean any entity that directly or indirectly controls, is controlled by or is under common control with ShopFully SpA and its Affiliatesâ subsidiaries, meaning any entity which is directly or indirectly controlled by the Affiliates.
