Carol Martins

My name is Caroline Pereira Martins, Brazilian, I am graduated and postgraduated in my country, but I have always sought knowledge that would lead me to experiences and cultures of other countries.

In the job market, I have experience in the hotel sector, having worked with the reception, food and beverage, reservations and events department. I also worked as a civil servant in the administrative sector with an emphasis on education and human resources.

At the moment I am a doctoral student in the tourism and leisure program at Universitat Rovira i Virgili and I intend to achieve the maximum number of experiences and cultural exchanges that the specialization is providing for me.

My ambitions and motivations are, as always, to acquire knowledge in all areas of work that are possible or necessary and to help to add our points of view and different experiences to my work.

I have experience in several areas of tourism, such as customer service in monuments, reception in hotels, administration in an event agency. I also have experience as an administrative agent as a civil servant in the education and human resources sector. Lastly, and currently, I teach English to children and teenagers.

Graduation in Tourism by the Rural Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, Specialist in Project Management by the University of São Paulo, Master in Tourism by the Postgraduate Tourism Program at the Federal University of Paraná and Doctorate in Tourism and leisure by the Universitat Rovira I Virgili still ongoing.
