• Led a backend team within the Payments area while owning technical design and delivery for payment-critical changes across the Core, provider integrations, merchant notifications, back office, reporting and production infrastructure.
• Designed and delivered payout returns end to end, coordinating changes across Core APIs, Transfeera integration, back-office workflows, merchant webhooks and reports to replace manual operational handling and correct merchant balances automatically.
• Drove modernisation of the merchant-notification path on AKS, leading the move of webhook receiver/sender and sandbox workloads toward Kubernetes and documenting rollout, validation and legacy decommissioning steps.
• Guided reliability improvements in the payment Core, addressing race conditions, checkout failures, stuck transactions, cache inefficiencies, payout concurrency issues and large-amount parsing failures with a strong focus on safe production behaviour.
• Contributed to new payment capabilities through BVNK stablecoin payments and the Celeris Events Hub, including NATS-based processing, out-of-order event handling, health checks and integration tests.
• Provided technical leadership during production incidents through root-cause analysis, urgent hotfixes, controlled SQL repairs, pod scaling and coordination with Infrastructure, Balance, Integrations and Back-office teams.
