January 2013 – Today. Mainframe Expert Developer Company Santander UK. Custome Duties: Permanent Role - As a mainframe lead, I have been involved in many different projects across different financial organizations on the last years. I have been involved on development on COBOL, JCL, PROC, SORT, EASYTRIEVES, communicating with DB2 database, scheduling JCL´s and involved on the automated testing framework. Actually, leading a developers team of 10 people as the technical expert. I´m also responsible of trace the abends on the batch and detect the failures. - In terms of functionality, I have been focused on the Mortgages area, being part of the development team across many banks. We have moved under the last technologies uses across the different organizations, working on Agile, with an Scrum Master, dealing with weekly Sprints, daily calls, etc. Our tasks are tracked on JIRA board which I have been responsible to manage as the teach lead of the team. - Leader of the team that implements the CORE API on Mainframe on COBOL and PL1 for different organizations. I have implemented the peer review and the pair programming on the team so the defects can be detected on the previous stage of the life code cycle.
