My name is Olivia and I am from Sweden but live in Barcelona.
I moved to Barcelona in the summer of 2021 to discover and experience new things. During the 1.5 years I have lived here, I have studied Spanish in order to really integrate into society. During this year, I have had to experience and deal with new situations, come up with solutions and stand on my own two feet.
Before moving to Barcelona, I worked as a mentor for a preschool class. As a mentor for the first time, I learned to be solution-oriented, be creative and take responsibility, find solutions to problems that arose and create new relationships with both students, staff and guardians. I also have experience working in restaurants and spas. My position was spa manager where I had to make sure that everything went right. I learned how to greet customers and take care of the property. Working at a spa taught me a lot about customer service and taking responsibility.
One of my personal qualities is that I find it very easy to adapt to new situations and learn new things. Having worked in both the school world and the restaurant industry, I have learned to communicate with all types of people.
Others usually describe me as creative because I find new ways of doing things, easy to talk to and a good listener. Also that I am responsible and do nothing half-hearted.
