I have worked in management positions for over 30 years, primarily in high value greenfield and brownfield projects in Europe, North Africa and the middle East, but also to a lesser extent in USA and China.
I am well versed and capable in operating effectively on both the strategic and tactical level, I have worked successfully as part of multinational construction project teams, primarily in the capacity of procurement manager, delivering high value projects in industries such as Power, Water, Oil and Gas.
As part of my career development, I have been the beneficiary of formal training in the following areas:
Leadership / Teambuilding.
Project Management.
Contracts Administration.
Expediting and Planning .
Environmental, Safety and Health ( BESH ) Leadership.
Also successfully established, owned and operated companies supporting large, fast track, construction projects throughout the middle east.
Giving experience and perspective from both the client and supplier side, which has proved to be very valuable asset.
I have always derived great satisfaction in contributing to the successful delivery of projects.
When not working my focus is on my family.
· Established Petropipe International Middle East Managing Director 2005 to 2019.
· Project Procurement Manager Fluor-Amec USA, 2003 to 2005:
-establishing and operating project procurement centres in UAE & Iraq.
· Bechtel Europe & Asia region 1995-2003 operating in a wide range of positions, including:
-Procurement/Expediting Manager and Lead Supervisor positions.
· 30 years of wide functional experience in Petrochemical, Gas and Power Mega-Projects.
· Lived and worked in multiple International locations - USA, London, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Iraq & UAE.
· Highly effective operating in both the Project HQ and site office environments.
