I am writing in regards to the Sales Executive post at Marriott Village d’Ile de France published on Internet recently. I have worked at Marriott Village (same place) since 2002 for around 8 years as Marketing executive and I used to be always in top two positions amongst a team of roughly 15 -20 OPCs because of my determination and motivation.
I am a very hardworking and dedicated person who loves challenges and not only reach but overcome sales targets given to me by my superiors. During my work at Marriott I won lots of prizes and recognition because of my outstanding sales performance (I can show you the certificates).
Once in front of the client I have a very human and empathetic approach to make them feel at ease in order to have a smooth flow during the presentation ( preview sales). My conviction in my product and in my speech makes me a very persuasive person during my sales pitch.
Just to give you a small example, once I was pitching families in Disney Village and I came across an Arab lady with 6 children roaming alone. As i have a great eye for quality I pitched her explaing the advantages and system of MVCI, She bought 6 platinum weeks and that was one of the biggest sales of that summer (2007-2008). I am very good at explaining and overcoming objections with the final goal of selling.
During my second job of Sales Executive at ETN world destination solution I have learnt a lot about meeting and talking to people for long hours in order to understand their needs and design personalised events for them.
I learnt a lot about how to be autonomous , organised (time management and setting prorities), perseverant and work under high pressure situations ( like the waiters not showing up before the event or caterer showing up late etc). I was also taking care of company’s accounts, communication and taxation matters so this further helped me develop my management and analytical capacities.
Ideally the knowledge I have gained through my work experience till now will help me excel and perform upto your expectations as a sales executive.
Back from a short maternity break I am available right now and I am ready to work weekends and public holidays. Even though I dont speak Italian I am fluent in Englsih, French and Hindi. Given the opportunity to perform I assure you my utmost dedication to contribute to company’s growth.
