Currently a full professor in Mechatronics Systems at UEVE and Paris-Saclay University. From 2011 to 2019, he was an associate professor in humanoid robotics at UVSQ, holding at the same time an industrial excellence chair about hydraulic domestication at UVSQ & BIA company. From 2010 to 2011, he was a Post-doc researcher at TUM-Germany with an Alexander Von Humboldt Foundation scholarship.
He received his Ph.D. in robotics from UVSQ in 2009. He was awarded the best Ph.D. thesis in robotics by the French CNRS in 2010 and the best Ph.D. thesis in mechatronics for the 20th anniversary of UVSQ.
He has been an investigator of several French national projects. He is the leader of the mechatronics research group. He was the team leader of the Paris-Saclay team for Mohamed Bin Zayed International Robotics Challenge MBZIRC2017.
He is co-coordinator of the Institute for Control and Decision (iCode Paris-Saclay). He is co-coordinator of the Human-in-the-loop Control and Decision Institute (H-CoDe Paris-Saclay). He published 28 peer-reviewed original publications and 51 international patents.
He obtained 4 M€ funding during the last five years. He is the co-founder of the KALYSTA start-up that aims to valorize the obtained results and commercialized the developed robots.
