Thomas Merlin

I'm Thomas Merlin, an engineering student at INSA Hauts-de-France. I'm seeking an end-of-studies internship from March 2023. I have experience as a process and application engineer, and as a windsurfing instructor. I specialize in mechanics, conception, and innovation, and have skills in software such as Catia, Solidworks, and Ansys.

During my professional career, I have had the opportunity to work as a process and application engineer at Pellenc ST, where I assisted salespeople in selecting and designing sorting lines, as well as improving a process simulation tool. I also worked as a windsurfing instructor during the summer season, and had a temporary job at France Conditionnement as a production worker.

During my time at Pellenc ST, I had the opportunity to work with a sustainable company that designs smart and connected sorting machines. As a process and application engineer, I assisted international salespeople in selecting and designing sorting lines, and continuously improved a process simulation tool. I gained valuable experience in project management, product development, and problem-solving, and had the opportunity to work with a talented team of professionals.
