Skilled makeup artist with extensive knowledge of cosmetic application including foundation, lashes and skin care. Colour correction, skin matching and use of bold and neutral pallets alike.
With over 4 years of training and experience, I feel I can offer the client a wide range of advice and instruction on how to enhance their natural look using cosmetics in a way that they could easily replicate at home. I am also able to create a look for the client for a special occasion or event using a bolder colour pallet if requested.
I have completed three years of studying a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Specialist Hair and Media Makeup focalising in Prosthetics and On Set Skills. My final major project consists of character design and sculpture used for character concepts and prosthetics. This degree has helped me gain a lot of experience with how to create and apply prosthetics and special effects makeup for a set of a TV show or Film. I have also gained a lot of knowledge for the fashion and editorial sector with having a variety of skills taught about makeup products and their uses and makeup trends both past and current. I have also completed modules that include producing postiche, styling and applying wigs, along with planning knowledge including research, use of mood boards and face charts and digital applications such as photoshop. This course has also given assistance to how a makeup station should be set up for a specific job and on set etiquette that is appropriate for a makeup artist.
