I have been in the makeup industry since 2019 when I enrolled on a Level 2 hair and makeup course at Stafford College, my skills and techniques for hair and makeup improved throughout the year which lead me to complete makeup for Screamfest in Burton and entering the National AHT Habia competition in Blackpool and came 3rd Place for bridal makeup. I have qualified with a First Class Honours degree in BA Specialist Hair and Makeup, and over the past three years I have learnt the skills required for an Onset Makeup Artist for TV and Film, Prosthetics, Period Makeup and Commercial hair and makeup, just to name a few. Alongside this, thoroughout lockdown my freelance business‘ online platform became quite successful leading to opportunities like having press articles written about my work, paid partnerships with brands, and being offered an audition for the TV programme ‘Glow Up’.
Having just graduated, I am looking for opportunities within the makeup industry to develop my skills and build a full time career. I am passionate about makeup, I have team and management skills through my current Supervisor role at New Look. I am hardworking, devoted and loves meeting and working with new people.
