Duties
- Undertaking all care work with sensitivity which will preserve the dignity, privacy, choice, independence, fulfilment and rights of the service user and his/her usual carer/members of family
- Performing basic personal care tasks as outlined in the client's care plan.
- Notifying management of any changes in the service user’s condition or circumstances.
- Maintaining good communication with client including those who may have some degree of communication difficulties
- Maintaining effective working relationships with service users & their families
- Preparing and cooking meals if outlined in the care plan
- Undertaking housekeeping, household cleaning and laundry duties as requested
