Experience

EMPLOYMENT HISTORY

JLR Warehouse Operative | Solidus Jaguar Land Rover

December 2023 – February 2025 (Redundancy due to workforce restructuring)

Redundancy Details: Due to a transition to electric vehicles, production was reduced from 46 cars per hour to 26 cars per hour, leading to an 80% reduction in agency staff in my department. I was made redundant on February 14, 2025

Floor Marshal Responsibilities

Supervised and directed warehouse vehicle operators, ensuring that parts were placed on dollies in the correct alignment and sequence.

Maintained proper workflow using color-coded zones (Yellow and Red) to ensure parts were removed and replaced in the correct order.

Allocated drivers to correct zones and assigned tasks for up to six drivers at a time, averaging three at any given moment.

My efficiency and work ethic ensured that management rarely needed to intervene, allowing my manager to focus on higher-priority tasks.

Prevented major disruptions that could result in production line stoppages costing up to £3,000 per minute by proactively managing workflows.

Reach Truck & Picking Experience:

Operated Reach Truck (RTITB Certified) to handle picking tasks, moving incoming items from trucks to designated pick areas.

Used warehouse scanning systems to identify correct storage locations and stow items efficiently.

Experience was inconsistent due to the limited number of reach trucks available, leading to cross-training in multiple roles.

LLOP & Backup Driver Roles:

Trained and operated LLOP for P50 & P60 trucks, serving as a backup driver when needed.

Worked in RADS (a specialized parts area) to ensure efficient movement and stocking of essential components.

Line Walking & Part Handling:

Responsible for ensuring large, heavy parts were properly rotated when emptied, replacing old stock with new full sets

Removed labels from blue boxes containing screws and prepared them for warehouse floor staff.

Coordinated with LLOP drivers to remove empty parts and deliver replacements efficiently.

Amazon Warehouse Sortation Operative | Redditch

August 2022 – October 2022

Used a finger scanner and RF Zebra scanner to efficiently scan parcels and stow them into the correct bags according to provided labels.

Assigned to the main sorting line, ensuring 98-100% accuracy when sorting parcels, preventing incorrect dispatch.

Consistently met and maintained performance benchmarks and quotas despite the fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Provided training for new employees, as my accuracy and workflow control were recognized as one of the strongest in my department.

Acquired in-depth knowledge of industrial safety protocols and compliance standards, including manual handling, pedestrian traffic flow, and hazard awareness in warehouse environments.

Amazon Warehouse Operative | DBI4 Fulfillment Centre

October 2021 – January 2022

Initially hired on a three-month contract for picking and packing Amazon items.

Assigned to an individual packing station, handling totes of Amazon items via a conveyor belt.

Maintained high efficiency and accuracy while packaging, ensuring proper handling of items to prevent delivery issues.

Electrician (Self-Employed) | R&E Electricals Ltd
