I treat governance as an accelerator, not a brake. I combine my Enterprise Architecture and Quality Management Systems knowledge with design thinking and Appreciative Inquiry to build secure, measurable operating models. My track record spans CIO, CTO, CISO and director-level consulting and board-aligned risk reporting, technology standards, and enterprise architecture operating models across mining, manufacturing, non-profit, and telco.
The outcome: delivery at pace, higher resilience, durable capability uplift, and reduced operating costs.
As a leadership consultant, I combine operating-model engineering with human performance methods. Rooted in my NLP and CBT practitioner certifications, and neurodiversity advocacy experience, I use structured coaching, reframing, and behaviour-change techniques to help leaders adopt new ways of working. In practice, I’ve built an Appreciative Inquiry and Design Thinking–led organisational development approach and provide strategy consulting and executive coaching to senior teams.
The outcome: Embedded board-level KPIs and ISO-aligned risk management and measurable, people-centered, business transformation.
I’m an enterprise technology and security leader with end-to-end operating-model, governance, and executive advisory experience across industrials, non-profit, and mining. I currently lead global consulting at Omerta IT—combining strategy consulting with executive coaching—and I’m delivering cyber technology leadership for Unilever.
Previously, I directed technology architecture and security consulting at NTT, guiding consultants and solution architects and building go-to-market offerings.
Earlier roles include mixed CTO/CISO at Synthomer, CISO & Head of Enterprise Architecture at Cancer Research UK, technical design assurance for IAG, CIO for Endeavour Mining’s West African operations, VP Operations at Aphex Technologies, and Lead Enterprise/Security Architect at Kinross Gold.
I’m internationally seasoned—building and operating multi-country estates and multi-site networks—with board-level exposure, risk KPIs, and security reporting. My toolkit spans Enterprise Architecture (Zachman), Six Sigma, ISO/NIST/COBIT, SIEM/SOC, and measurable operating metrics.
I hold an MA in International Security Studies (MBA—Psychology in progress) and certifications including Zachman EA, Six Sigma Black Belt, CISSP, CISM, and CRISC.
I’m currently completing an MBA with a focus on Psychology, building on my MA in International Security Studies from the University of Leicester (2019).
My dissertation explored how cultural diversity shapes diplomacy and international conflict, and my coursework covered intelligence ethics, political violence, cross-cultural negotiation, and international security (UN Security Council, Responsibility to Protect, and Human Security).
I also hold diplomas in IT Network Administration (Everest College, 2000) and Computer Programming (CMS Training, 1998). Alongside formal studies, I maintain professional credentials—including Zachman Certified Enterprise Architect (2017), Six Sigma Black Belt, CISSP (2017), CISM (2016), and CRISC (2019)—that reinforce the rigour and practicality of my leadership work.
