Starting my leadership foundation in the UK Military, I was quickly immersed in dynamic and austere environments that tested my ability to problem solve under pressure and lead from the front.
This developed into a passion to learn more and observe how ownership of challenges shape the outcome of situations. Learning how to appropriately balance the task, team and individual needs of personnel in order to attain the best results. This was observed and advancement soon followed.
Building on success, this ignited further learning and development in myself and I steadily built my momentum towards senior leadership.
Being recognised and rewarded by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II for my impact on the training and the development of emerging leaders, let me know I had found the right path.
Leaving the military and branching out into commercial leadership development was a natural progression. I quickly found the right equilibrium in energetic facilitation and decided to challenge myself to grow further by attaining greater knowledge.
I am a highly effective coach, utilizing an elevated degree of Emotional Intelligence in matching the needs of the coached and where they desire to be. I hold a Level 5 Diploma in Coaching and Mentoring and use this skill daily in facilitation.
I have a very strong track record in leadership development, holding a Level 7 Extended Diploma in Strategic Leadership & Management (Masters Level). I am currently background studying before I undertake a Doctorate of Education in Leadership Studies in the next academic semester.
