About

My career spans diverse sectors, building a strong foundation in client service and analytical detail. Initial roles in public service (Leicester City Council) and retail (TK Maxx) developed my professional communication and customer focus. I gained technical proficiency in logistics at Unipart before specializing in financial security.

As a Card Fraud Specialist (at Santander), I applied analytical tools to prevent fraud. Most recently, at Hastings Direct, I conducted policy reviews to ensure compliance and identify risk. Throughout, I have consistently demonstrated meticulous attention to detail, process adherence, and a commitment to secure, customer-centric outcomes.

Experience

Re-ablement Assistant - Leicester City Council - Leicester

(2019-07 - 2019-07)

Whilst working with the highly trained and qualified re-ablement team I was trained to make phone calls to pharmacies and chemists around Leicester and administer blister packs to those who needed them this enabled me to gain confidence in talking in a professional manner over the phone. While on duty I often went to patients' homes to carry out after care re-ablement duties as well as conducting health and safety checks upon arrival.

Store Associate - TK Maxx - Leicester

(2020-12 - 2022-03)

At TK Maxx I was allocated to the men's and women's clothing and the footwear departments. Occasionally I supported the frontline staff at the cashiers. My main duty was to ensure I was selling the right product with the correct labels.

I prioritised my shifts by guaranteeing that targets were met by completing all tasks that were given to me by management. I prevented store thefts by ensuring that the stock had the right security measures and deterred any suspicious behaving individuals by asking if they required assistance. This experience allowed me to gain a wide overview of what customers liked and disliked about the fashion industry.

The involvement of me working at the cashiers and TK Maxx in general helped me become more confident in talking to customers in a professional manner.

Logistics Assistant - Unipart Logistics - Lutterworth

(2022-07 - 2022-07)

My seven-and-a-half-hour day consisted of monitoring iPhones, iPads and Macs ensuring they reached their desired location intact being carefully packed and that the serial numbers must always matched. However, if they did not match, they were relabelled as a mismatch and sent to another location within our warehouse to be processed again and to find where said iPhone, Mac or iPad must go. This job gave me the training required to be tech savvy and gain confidence in using technology and gain an insight on how iPhone, Macs and iPads must be stored.
