I have been in the recruitment industry for nearly 20 years, initially enjoying the experience of recruiting locally then progressing into regional recruitment, expanding into UK national recruitment, and more recently, recruiting globally.
Extensive experience of managing the recruitment strategy, processes, procedures and recruitment engine for positions within various disciplines including, White-Collar and Blue-Collar workers and with varying levels of seniority including entry-level roles to and including Director positions.
Initially gaining my skills and experience within a generalist agency capacity supplying both temporary and permanent solutions to SME’s and global giants, more recently, gaining insight as an internal Talent Acquisition Manager and HR Lead focusing within the digital space covering Europe, Africa, North Africa, Middle East and Asia.
In 2013 I opened my own business, a recruitment agency, allowing me to develop my analytical, strategic, and business skills further. From handling business accounts (including year-end responsibilities to HMRC requirements), staff development, company health & safety and managing the business’ compliance, process, and procedures. This opportunity provided me with the in-depth knowledge and demand, and very much enabled me to have the strategical perspective on business requirements, needs and priorities which I have been able to continue when joining another business.
Within my last position I held full accountability for the HR process, procedures and support of the business including review, appraisals, learning and development, implementation of processes and procedures and being accountable for all Employment Contracts within our international team. I also manage the recruitment and talent engine, recruitment process and onboarding. Building partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, hiring managers, managing the candidate experience, headhunting, employee onboarding and contract confirmation, and championing recruitment best practices. I thoroughly enjoy a proactive, positive, and collaborative environment where colleagues take pride in delivering a high-quality standard and can share values, ethics, and vision.
