I want to become a qualified dental nurse because it provides a stable career with clear progression onto more specialised roles such as orthodontics or becoming a qualified dentists. This is something i am passionate about as I've had the fortunate of having a mother who use to practice as a dental nurse, allowing me from a young age to have this profession in high regard. Previous experience working in customer focused environments will allow me to smoothly transition into caring for and assisting patients, as well as maintaining order and communication between a small team.
A few skills I've developed in my recent role are an eye for detail,
familiarity with Microsoft and similar tools, cohesive teamwork, critical analysis,
composure under pressure and time management.
I am currently enrolled on the NEBDN Diploma in Dental Nursing course seeking a full-time position with availability to start as soon as possible.

Door supervisor – Synergy security, Southampton (Feb 2023 – April 2023)
I worked in trilogy nightclub and an American style steakhouse. This was a great foundation to develop the skills to work as a team as I had the privilege of working with very experienced colleagues who showed me the layout and ins and out of the job. During this time, I had to deal with multiple code red situations, however with the guidance of colleagues I used my training to resolve the situations to the best of my abilities.
Using my conflict management skills to reduce tensions and create peaceful solutions.
Door supervisor – Vespasian Security, Portsmouth (May 2023 – August 2024)
I have worked in various bars and stadiums with this company and with my prior experiences I was able to handle multiple conflicts and perform to a high standard. Working in stadiums allowed me to develop greater communication skills as with the sheer volume of customers each game requiring help/aid. Furthermore, while at both bars and stadium games I have been in situations of extreme vulnerability as some positions saw my colleagues and I outnumbered extensively, but through remaining calm and composed I faced every challenge head on working towards effective solutions each time.
Tesco colleague – nights staff at Kensington superstore, (09 September 2024 – 03 January 2025).
This role includes refilling and restocking items throughout the night for various departments in the store. During the start of the shift I will restock while also being free to help customers inquiries,
helping them to locate products in the store.
Trainee Sales Partner – part of the Steppe2 trainee management programme, Islington. (February
10th – 14th 2025). This role consisted of daily meetings with experienced senior and junior partners with years of experience between each of them breaking down the fundamentals of core business values behind the scenes and sales in the field. I was tasked with learning the fundamentals of sales on a tight time budget and perform door to door sales representing campaigns from clients.
This built up a lot of resilience due to the frequent hindrances, however it led to a core understanding of the rule of averages which led to many successful campaigns.

present)
As shift leader my day to day tasks included managing a team of 3 to 5 people, distributing tasks across the store as well as over seeing the general productivity and shop floor organisation. Placing deliveries and collecting invoices of deliveries are another key role required of my position.
This includes going around the store logging product inventory and assessing what’s needed in each days deliveries after comparisons with the previous days orders. Once deliveries arrive I’ll take account of what’s received while assigning different team members to deal with products of immediate attention such as frozen goods and fresh vegetables.
