I am Adrita Barua. I am currently a student at the University of Leeds, completing my Post Graduation in English Literature. I completed my Bachelor's in English in August 2023 from the University of Calcutta.
I finished my high school at South Point High School. I love to sing and write. I have been a part of both the Singing and Creative Writing Club of my College. From 2020-2023, I have worked as a YouTube Scriptwriter under YouTube Studios.
I have written scripts for various topics including Sports, Short Stories, Celebrity Lifestyle, and even Travel and Tourism. I have worked as a Web Content Writer for HyprOnline.
I also love writing poems and prose fiction. I have written a few poems under the Inkzoid Foundation. I also love to draw, which I have learned for 12 years and I love to dance. I have learned two Indian classical dance forms, Odissi and Kathak. I am extremely passionate about singing and playing the guitar. I learned both of them under professional trainers. I have performed in several college fests and earned 2nd place in one of them.
I am currently a Writer and Editor for Her Campus Magazine, Leeds.

As a YouTube scriptwriter and a Web Content Writer, I had to deal with the requirements of clients, and the type of content they would want and I needed to submit my work within a set deadline.
I am currently pursuing Post Graduation in English Literature from the University of Leeds. For my first semester, I have been studying mostly Yorkshire history and literature and as an optional module, I have taken Reading with Psychoanalysis, where I have to closely study Sigmund Freud's theories and analysis. My course requires me to write essays on research-based topics.
