Hi, I want to be a Teaching Assistant in a Primary School or a Learning Support Assistant in a Secondary School. This because I want to help support individuals in a classroom setting to understand a range of different subject areas. I really want to help any disadvantaged student recieve the best education possible. So, that they grow up to become more independent learners.

Previously, I worked as an ambassador for Refuge Literacy UK. I learned about the English subject. Firstly, I gain insight into reading prompts used in schools from the age of newborns to 9-11 years old. Afterwards, I teach it to refuge parents not born in the UK with children currently studying here. Parents will effectively end up developing awareness about the curriculum, in order to improve their child’s education.

Recently, I have a done course called Preparing to Work In Schools. I have effectively learned different types of schools that exist, the roles of staff members in a school and what is taught is UK cirruclum etc. I also have gained knowledge of Equality and Diversity as well as full depth information on Safeguarding.
