About
My name is Aisha Patel and I am interested in the position that you currently have available as a Pandora sales assistant at the Blackburn store. I am at this moment a first year pharmacy student, ongoing into my second year, at the University of Central Lancashire. During my time at university and through my experience of attending placements I have obtained many useful skills to aid me in the role of being a sociable sales assistant.
These include professionalism, which is crucial to make the customers feel welcome, communication, which allows me to converse with the customers in a respectful manner to create a safe and trustworthy environment. Another vital skill is teamwork, which is key when working in a store as you are required to liaise with other customers and staff members. Overall, I am a hardworking, motivated, and enthusiastic individual with a proven track record in customer service.
I always strive to achieve the highest standard possible at any given task and in any situation. I am a reliable person with good time keeping. I am friendly, approachable and I can follow instructions accurately.
I am accustomed to working in a challenging and fast paced environment, particularly when dealing with multiple projects and priorities at the same time.
Experience

These skills would be useful when working as a sales assistant because of the capability of easily getting through a hectic day and handling situations well with demanding customers.
Has developed excellent verbal communication skills as constantly working with others, which is needed when advising and dealing with customers.
Warehouse Worker - Royal Mail
Expected to transport and sort parcels as well as organise and scan deliveries. This experience benefits sales assistant work because it requires working calmly and efficiently to get tasks done at a fast pace.

Gained experience working with a wide range of people of all ages through voluntary work. Had the opportunity to use x-rays and ultrasounds. It was a physical and mentally demanding job that required extending periods of standing and working in fast pace and high-stake situations.

Carried out a couple days of work at a Specsavers optician, which allowed dealing with lifelike problems with day-to-day patients in a profession where sociability is required. Was able to advise and solve issues and communicate with diverse people.
