Aisha Shah

My name is Aisha Shah, a motivated and passionate individual currently studying Microbiology and Molecular Biology at Manchester Metropolitan University. Alongside my studies, I dedicate my time to tutoring primary school students in preparation for their SATs with The Tutor Trust. My ultimate goal is to become a teacher, and I'm always on the lookout for opportunities to expand my skills and knowledge in education.

I'm excited to embark on new experiences, learn new things, and further develop my current skills as I journey towards achieving my aspirations.

Sept 2020 - Jan 2022: MagiKats Maths and English Tutoring

• Tutor children from pre-school to GSCE and NaDonal 5.
• Help improve children’s maths and english skills through interactive workshops.
• Worked with children with learning difficulties and behavioural issues.

July 2022: BSC Young Learners (Summer School)

• Worked as an acidity leader.
• Took part in overseeing the planning of fun activities along with other acidity leaders.
• Responsible for delivering these activities to the student.

January 2023 - November 2023: Explore Learning

• Online tutor.
• Tutoring maths and english via 1:1 or 1:3 sessions to children aged 4-14 years old.

October 2023 - Present: The Tutor Trust

• Tutor for primary schools located in Greater Manchester.
