Alan Bragg

I have experience teaching a broad array of aspects, from the formal elements and various media, to social context, meaning and application. My university education was in illustration, but my own artistic focus has been in portrait painting over the last few years. The most rewarding aspects of teaching for me have been seeing children enjoy art, to actually help them develop their skills and confidence, and to make lessons rich with context. I am always trying to improve and develop myself and am open to learning new things and adapting. I have been praised for my calm and respectful demeanour with young people and for my team player attitude.

I have just completed my first year of teacher training at New Rickstones Academy in Witham. Before that my career was in fashion retail working for Ted Baker.

I studied illustration at Falmouth University where I gained a 2:1.
