I play a crucial role in supporting patients and their families across various healthcare settings. Here are some of my key responsibilities:
Personal Care: HCAs assist patients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and hygiene.
Communication: They engage with patients, providing emotional support and ensuring their needs are met.
Observations: HCAs monitor vital signs such as heart rate, temperature, height, and weight.
Medical Interventions: Some HCAs are trained to perform tasks like taking blood samples or administering vaccinations.
Maintaining Cleanliness: They help keep rooms and medical facilities tidy and well-stocked.
