I am Alessandro, a backend developer with 5 years experience in TypeScript, Node.js, Express, NestJS, Jest (for unit and integration tests), SuperTest (for acceptance tests), relational, non-relational and in-memory databases (MySQL, Redis, Mongo), React (including context and custom hooks). I am using these web technologies to create systems focused on customer engagement, recycle and reuse of plastic packages and car park management, which I then deploy in AWS EC2 service using Docker and pipelines following the best CI/CD practices.
I am a developer because I enjoy solving problems. I love my job because it gives me the chance to challenge and prove myself every day. It also gives me the opportunity to mentor and guide new developers through their journey in this amazing industry, where 2 days are never the same.
I am a developer because I am a lifelong learner. There is no day where I don’t learn something new, which could be anything from a small code tip to a design pattern. Right now I am upskilling in Angular and Postgres to enhance my versatility as a developer and to be able to ensure that I have the right tools to solve problems.
