I'm an experienced Information and Records Manager with a strong track record in FOI/SAR compliance, governance, and strategic triage—particularly in high-pressure environments with limited resources. I specialise in resolving complex issues, improving service delivery, and ensuring regulatory integrity across public sector and insurance settings. Alongside my professional work, I’m deeply committed to nonprofit causes and long-term fundraising campaigns, driven by a belief in doing the right thing and creating meaningful change. I bring a calm, analytical approach and a strong sense of purpose to every challenge I take on.
I’ve worked across public sector and insurance environments, specialising in FOI/SAR compliance, governance, and complaint resolution. My career has focused on managing complex information requests, improving service delivery, and navigating regulatory frameworks under pressure—often during staff shortages or crisis scenarios. I’ve led internal audits, developed triage systems, and built stakeholder trust through clear communication and strategic planning. Whether in council settings or regulated insurance roles, I bring integrity, resilience, and a commitment to doing the right thing.
I hold a BA in Business Management, which provided a strong foundation in strategic planning, governance, and organisational leadership. I’ve completed formal training in Data Protection Officer (DPO) responsibilities, including GDPR compliance, FOI legislation, and data governance frameworks. This has supported my work leading FOI/SAR responses and advising on regulatory integrity across public and regulated sectors. In November, I’ll be starting a Master’s in Data Management to deepen my expertise in ethical data use, analytics, and information governance—part of my ongoing commitment to doing the right thing and driving meaningful change.
