I am a creative, ambitious and hard-working NQJ-qualified video and social media journalist. I have developed essential journalistic and digital storytelling skills during six years at BBC News.
I produce, curate and manage content across the BBC East Midlands social media channels. I also shoot, edit and commission digital videos for the BBC News website, social media and the region’s news programme, BBC East Midlands Today.
Using social media listening tools and data analytics, I help to commission cross-platform stories. I also produce written pieces for the BBC New website.
I have produced digital videos which have recorded millions of views across social media and the BBC News website. I am proficient in the use of Final Cut Pro X and have five years of experience filming on DSLR cameras, as well as using lighting and audio equipment.
Firs class honours degree in BA Print Journalism from Nottingham Trent University.
