• Duties include:
• The supervision of all cleaning staff focussing on their performance in terms of standards of cleanliness and performance;
• Delegating tasks to each team member and ensure they know what they need to do for each unit;
• Ensuring that the equipment has been prepared for the start of the shift and that my team have sufficient cleaning products and materials required for the shift ahead;
• Ensuring that a first class cleaning service is delivered to all areas of the units;
• Ensuring my team staff are wearing the correct PPE and using the correct chemicals and cleaning products in a safe manner as in the COSHH safety directions;
• Ensuring my staff are doing duties correctly, and walking through each unit after cleaning to inspect that the unit is up to a cleaning standard expected;
• Ensuring the correct preparation of cleaning equipment for the following shift.
