Office Manager at Farm Tech Supplies LTD-Bentley (2019-06 – 2025-03)
I started this role in accounts. Processing purchase orders, receiving in stock, general bookkeeping and bank reconciling. I dealt with a lot of tricky customers who were late payers etc so the MD promoted me to after sales and technical support.
In this role I dealt with lots of situations from happy to unhappy customers and lost pallets and parcels. I would then have to find a solution for the issues. In April 2022 I was promoted to the Office Manager.
I manage a team of 6 people and help out with sales order processing, shipping of orders, customer complaints and HR. I have also been covering the accounts while the company is looking for a new book keeper. I use Sage 200, Excel & Woo commerce day to day.
Up until 2023 I used Quickbooks in this role. I also feed orders through to the workshop to check the correct machines are built and sent. In this role I have completed a first aid course and intermediate Excel course.
I also worked 4 months on Xero whilst we were trialing systems.
Customer Service Assistant at DMS (2012 – 2019-06)
General Admin/reception and accounts including updating the website database, answering calls and emails. Dealing with customer complaints. Sending and creating invoices and credit notes. Receiving in stock and bills. Being a friendly face to greet visitors. Warehouse duties picking, packing, stock check.
Shop Assistant at Lloyds Pharmacy Grayshott (2011 – 2012)
Duties included cashing up at the end of the day, serving customers in the shop and giving out prescriptions. In this role I passed the mystery shopper test.
Sales Assistant at Blackmoor Farm Shop (2007 – 2011)
Started as a Saturday girl then went on to work 6 days a week. Duties included restocking shelves, stock take, cooking for the café, farmers markets every Sunday. Whilst doing this I also completed an NVQ in retail. Sadly the farm shop closed so I had to find another job.
