I have over 19 years of experience as an Occupational Health and Safety Practitioner. I have worked across various industry sectors, including Aviation, Oil & Gas, Education and currently in the Health Sector. I have acquired professional skill sets, including but not limited to Accident investigation, Hazard identification, Incident reporting and analysis, Risk assessments and Risk Management, Training and Presentation skills.
I hold a Master of Science Degree in Disaster Risk Management as well as in Occupational Health, Safety and Well-Being Management. I hold a NEBOSH qualification and am currently a Certified member of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH), undergoing the IOSH IPD (Initial Professional Development) to become a Chartered Member.
I am passionate about pointing people in the right direction so that as they come to work in a clean bill of health, they can also return home in a clean bill of health and continue to be valuable to themselves, their family and the society at large.
I am seeking part-time supplementary employment within the 20-hour skilled Worker allowance. I currently work full-time in the NHS as a Health and Safety Advisor and can take an additional part-time role within permitted skilled Worker categories. I am available for weekend jobs up to 20 hours per week.
