I have been providing healthcare Mandatory trainings and Manual handling trainings for a healthcare company. These trainings include, collecting data, preparing presentations and then delivering these presentations to students- along with practical work. Aside from mandatory trainings, I have been teaching the Care Certificate and checking assessments because I have the Level 5 DET qualification.
Along with providing trainings, I also do some administrative work for the company too.
I have the experience for working in nursing homes working especially with dementia and challenging behaviour patients. In the nursing home, I was working closely with the care co-ordinators and was trained in the specific PRICE training also. I have also worked within the domicilliary care sector, attending a variety of clients with varying degrees of care needed.
In addition, I have experience in doing live in care- providing clients care for a longer period of time within the comfort of their homes. This included, providing personal care, helping clients with their medication and taking care of their physical,mental and emotional health and their homes and other duties also.
Aside from Healthcare, I have the experience of working within retail for shops like Burberry and also volunteering for charity shops. My responsibilities were serving customers, making recommendations, helping, advising, directing and dealing with enquiries, and being responsible for processing payments. Answering queries from customers.
Dealing with customer refunds, attaching price tags to merchandise on the shop floor, and also responsible for security within the store. Keeping up to date with special promotions and putting up displays out for shoplifters and fraudulent credit cards etc.
