Waitress at Handley's Café (2024-05 – 2025-09)
I provided friendly and attentive service in a busy, fast-paced environment. My duties included greeting guests, guiding them through the menu, accurately processing orders using digital POS systems, and ensuring dietary requirements were communicated to the kitchen. One of my main duties was as the café barista.
I took pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation, assisting with opening and closing procedures, and helping to coordinate promotions and developing new menu items. Through this role, I further developed my teamwork, adaptability, and customer service skills.
Waitress at Caffe Italia (2022-03 – 2022-09)
My main responsibilities as a waitress was welcoming and seating customers, taking customer orders, communicating them effectively to the kitchen staff. I had to memorise the menu and use of the point of sales ipad software to place orders. I was also required to take payment from customers and help cleaning and resetting tables. I worked with a team of 8 and enjoyed working as part of a team.
