On completion of a BPS accredited psychology degree as well as a masters in cognitive neuroscience, I am confident in stating that I have attained skills which will help me to excel within my aspired field of work. Such skills include a very good understanding of Microsoft office (Word, PowerPoint and excel), the ability to navigate statistical analytical programmes including SPSS, the understanding of how to use brain imaging tools/software and advanced research skills /report writing. Other skills include good communication, adaptability, problem-solving and working in a team by which were developed in my most recent job supporting people with psychiatric disorders.
Finally, I have a willingness to improve and further, I am always eager to learn. Following the above skills previously stated I feel that I will be the right candidate for a job within my aspired field of work.
Caring for service users who suffered with psychiatric disorders such as Bipolar disorder, Pica, Anxiety and Autism. The job entailed supervision at all times whilst giving the utmost care to service users following health guidelines set out within the training courses provided throughout the working year.
