I’m a housing professional with several years of experience in allocations, property management, and team leadership within local government. I’ve worked closely with both applicants and internal teams to make sure housing is allocated fairly, efficiently, and in line with council policy.

Manage the housing allocations process in line with council policy and housing legislation
Oversee property management including voids, lettings, and ensuring homes meet required standards
Monitor and manage team performance, providing leadership, support, and development
Work closely with applicants, housing associations, and internal departments to coordinate placements
Manage operational budgets and monitor expenditure to ensure cost-effective service delivery
Develop and implement procedures to improve service efficiency and customer experience
Handle complex housing cases with sensitivity, ensuring vulnerable residents are supported appropriately
Ensure compliance with safeguarding, equality, and data protection standards in all housing activity
Use housing management systems to track applications, monitor KPIs, and produce performance reports
Contribute to policy reviews, service planning, and strategic decision-making within the housing service
