I am a BJTC award-winning Journalism graduate with over eight years experience in Communications across the marketing, defence, finance, property, healthcare and charity sectors.
I am very proactive, positive and personable, always making sure I go above and beyond in all tasks I undertake to better assist my peers.
I value attention to detail, commitment, consistency and persistence, all of which are things that are portrayed in how I work.
My proclivity towards seeking out knowledge means that I am always prepared to learn something new, and accept constructive criticism, so that I can improve my overall performance.
A highly experienced and strategic Communications and Engagement professional with a strong background in leading end-to-end communications functions across diverse sectors, including aviation, defence, charity, and media.
Currently working as the Internal Communications Business Partner at Innovus Group, I am solely responsible for the internal communications function, having established and led the company’s internal communications and engagement strategy, aligning with business objectives and values.
I have a proven track record of partnering with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to deliver impactful communication plans, enhance employee engagement, and drive cultural alignment across business units. My work includes managing multi-channel communications platforms (intranet, employee apps, digital signage), implementing tools like Poppulo, HubSpot, and Workvivo, and using data insights to optimise strategy and execution.
I’ve played a key role in aligning internal communications with group-level objectives in a parent company structure, and have led business-wide initiatives such as employee forums, town halls, and away days. My previous role at Draken saw me shape the communications strategy during a major acquisition and rebrand, develop a new brand identity, and manage internal and external messaging across the global business. I also contributed to sustainability initiatives and chaired a project that led to a company-wide environmental strategy.
Earlier in my career, I held communications roles within charities and agencies, where I developed campaigns, managed media relations, crisis comms, and produced engaging content across digital and print platforms. Notably, I led on the world’s largest citizen science campaign at Butterfly Conservation and created house style and brand guidelines across multiple organisations.
My background also includes experience in publishing, where I honed skills in editorial production, content marketing, and stakeholder engagement. I bring excellent stakeholder management skills, creative content development expertise, and a passion for clear, effective, and engaging communication that aligns people with purpose.
I hold a Bachelor's degree in Journalism, providing me with a strong foundation in storytelling, content creation, media relations, and audience engagement—skills that are essential to effective communication. Complementing this, I also hold a Postgraduate qualification in Psychology, which enhances my ability to understand employee behaviour, motivation, and organisational dynamics. This combination of disciplines uniquely positions me to create strategic, empathetic, and impactful communications that drive engagement and support cultural alignment within organisations.
