Driven and enthusiastic individual with experience working within retail and hospitality. Strong expertise in effectively comminating to the public with a positive attitude. Through graduating from university BA/hons in design, I can implement my artistic skills and attention to detail into tasks providing an aesthetically pleasing outcome. I am eager to progress in the creative jewellery field through using my confident personality and jewellery making experience.

Over the years while I have been in education I have worked in cleaning jobs during the summer and I worked in a bar during my fourth year of university. After I graduated I got my first full time job working in a diamond jewellers “Duamond Heaven” where I have been able to further my skills in customer facing environment and I have been able to share my knowledge of jewellery to customers. After six months of working here I was promoted to assistant manager where I was given more responsibility in running the shop and organising staff while also dealing with any difficult situations that might arise.

I have now worked here just under two years, and I have become increasingly confident operating in a managers role and have loved the extra responsibilities it has given me.

JEWELLERY AND METAL WORK DESIGN • 2018 - 2022 • UNIVERSITY OF DUNDEE

Throughout my degree I have developed an in-depth knowledge of jewellery making techniques with my favorites featuring stone setting, soldering, and casting. I have created various metal pieces using jeweler’s tools and machinery on various types of metals such as copper and silver. Although not all items I have created are wearable pieces like jewellery, I have always been ambitious in creating them to serve a useful purpose. For my degree show project, I have created metal bottle stoppers from a variety of materials and techniques inspired by the mischievous behavior of the magpie.
