About

I'm a friendly person with a positive outlook, attitude and currently taking driving lessons. I have recently completed my Level 2 Certificate in Childcare and Early Years at Walsall College and started my Level 2 Diploma in September 2025. I enjoy socialising with family and friends, eating out in restaurants, going to the cinema, playing pool and I like listening to music and playing my PlayStation.

I see myself as a team player from taking part in Tae Kwon Do since 2014, playing 7 years of cricket at Streetly Cricket Club and the chance to compete in the County trials for Women's U18's. I am hard working, have great listening and verbal skills, attention to detail and enjoy working with people and always strive to give 100%. Nothing is too much trouble and I'm always willing to learn new things.

My career goal is to be a Reception Teaching Assistant, then progressing to Reception Class Teacher.

Experience

(2024-06)

After completing my GCSE's and knowing I would be starting a Childcare and Early Years course at Walsall College in September 2024, I started voluntary work as an Early Years Assistant at Merritt's Brook Primary School as soon as my DBS and enrolment was complete. In January 2025 I started my 1-day placement at Merritt's Brook and I will continue my 1 day placement at the same school from September 2025.

Seasonal Sales Assistant - TGJones, Gracechurch Centre - Sutton Coldfield

(2025-12 - 2026-01)

I successfully secured a Seasonal Sales Assistant role at TGJones (WHSmith). My role mainly consisted of making lists of what goods were required, collected items from the storeroom and re-filled the shelves. I also tidied and organised the shelves to look nice and tidy for customers.

I was also involved in stocktaking and assisted customers when they were unable to find what they were looking for. I very much enjoyed this role whilst working as a team and gaining new skills and experience in the retail sector.
