Shop Manager at Kington Farm Supplies (2024-12 – Present)
From January 2026 I have been in the role of Shop Manager, with the additional responsibilities of managing daily staff availability and holiday requests, working in alongside our HR department and electronic HR platform. Responsible for overseeing stock levels are maintained and requested through our Purchasing Department. Reporting of sales figures, propositioning of ideas and requests to Directors via quarterly meetings.
Monitoring and ensuring Health and Safety Policies are maintained and adhered to and where necessary liaising with our Health and Safety Advisor for advice and clarification. Dealing with customer enquiries and requests daily. Responsible for retail and yard stock levels, the ordering of equipment spares and parts, warranty activation and claims for Stihl, Stiga and associated products, delivery and handovers to customers of purchased products.
Overseeing and working as part of a small team of engineers to prioritize repairs.
