I’m a motivated and people‑focused HR graduate with international experience across the UAE and the UK, currently completing my CIPD Level 3 in People Practice. I’ve supported both Talent Management and Talent Acquisition teams, gaining hands‑on experience in recruitment, onboarding, employee lifecycle support, Workday, and cross‑cultural collaboration. With a first‑class degree, strong communication skills, and a natural ability to connect with others, I thrive in fast‑paced environments where building relationships and supporting people is at the heart of the role. I’m now relocating back to Scotland and looking for a full‑time, permanent opportunity in Edinburgh or Glasgow where I can grow within a people‑centric HR or talent team and make a positive impact from day one.
I have built a strong early career foundation across HR, talent acquisition, and people support through hands‑on roles in both the UK and the UAE. My recent internship in Talent Management and HR Operations at Hilti Dubai allowed me to support employee development initiatives, manage HR processes, and work confidently with systems like Workday while collaborating across a diverse, international team. Previously, during my Talent Acquisition internship with Hilti GB, I gained end‑to‑end recruitment experience including CV screening, interview coordination, and candidate communication. Alongside my HR experience, I have developed excellent communication, customer service, and organisational skills through roles in hospitality, retail, childcare, and administration. Together, these experiences have shaped me into a people‑focused, adaptable HR professional with strong attention to detail and a genuine passion for supporting employees and creating positive workplace experiences.
I am currently completing the CIPD Level 3 Foundation Certificate in People Practice, strengthening my understanding of core HR principles, employee lifecycle management, and professional HR standards. I also hold a First-Class BA (Hons) in Criminology from Manchester Metropolitan University, where I developed strong analytical, communication, and research skills that now support my work within people‑focused roles. Alongside this, my academic background has helped build a solid foundation in understanding human behaviour, organisational dynamics, and effective interpersonal communication - all highly relevant to a career in HR and talent.
