Working as an Team Leader on the Airbus A380 wing rib foot adaptation with a small team, I performed the full structure adaptation work on the hybrid composite ribs and wing tips. I completed A350 training on advanced composites at the Airbus composite university and held Airbus approval stamps for self-certification and inspecting colleagues' fitting, cable, fuel and hydraulics assemblies. I also trained in SAP management systems and lean manufacturing.
I had an excellent and thorough understanding of Airbus procedures and worked hard to perform my duties efficiently and correctly on a daily basis.
Aircraft Fitter - Marshall Aerospace - Cambridge - Cambridge

I worked as an Aircraft Fitter and held skill codes for Boeing as a highly skilled fitter on the 737 Boeing P-8 Poseidon fuel tank project which required an extremely high standard of work with no real margin for error, I was expected to perform tasks such as drilling, reaming, using drilling and assembly jigs, integral sealing and plumbing, daily, to a very strict deadline. I also performed structural, electrical and mechanical assembly on a regular basis and worked on the complete assembly of the 737 fuel tanks.

- Upon completing my apprenticeship, I was immediately employed as an Aircraft Fitter on a new concept Boeing 747 auxiliary fuel tanks as part of a small, specialist team.
- Our work was then scrutinised and subjected to a full Boeing inspection to ensure the extremely high standards they required.
- I also completed in house training for photogrammetry and was again personally selected to work with a Boeing engineer to test and write the procedure for measuring the fuel tanks.
