I’m a senior technical author and strategic communicator with deep experience in turning complex technical, cloud, and infrastructure topics into clear, usable documentation and content. I work across government, defence, enterprise IT, and SaaS environments, producing high-quality guides, knowledge bases, API documentation, and user-centred content that helps organisations work smarter and communicate with clarity.

2019-Present - Contract technical writer (self-employed). Contracts included the Ministry of Defence (MOD Cloud), Roke Manor Research, Crayon, Microsoft, F5 Networks and Cadence Preferred.

2004-2019 - Principal Technologist/Technology Manager, Content Master (later Agylia, now part of Civica). Team leader for large book, online and course-based publication teams working on-site for Microsoft. Technologies included Active Directory, Exchange Server, System Center, Microsoft Intune, Azure, .NET Framework, J2EE, networking infrastructure, and Office 365. Wrote the original Microsoft Identity and Access Management Series.
