I am Anushka Kohli, recently worked as a Practitioner providing PBS services in London. I have more than 6 years of experience working with young populations across various settings.
My ABA journey began at Cogniable in India, where I conducted VB-MAPP assessments and designed Individualised Education Plans (IEPs) for children with special needs. I also completed the ABA technician qualification through the Qualified Applied Behaviour Analysis Credentialing Board. I then worked at Behaviour Enrichment in Dubai, implementing behaviour management programmes for learners, providing both group and one-on-one support.
This role allowed me to understand diverse cultural contexts and adapt strategies accordingly.
In the UK, I worked at Care for Special Needs in London, supporting autistic learners in developing life skills and collaborating with behaviour analysts to create Individualised Educational Plans (IEPs). Recently, at Positive Support Group, I provided Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) to children and young individuals, integrating ABA with person-centered and trauma-informed approaches. My role involved developing Functional Behaviour Assessment (FBA) and Behaviour Support Plan (BSP) reports.
Within the Hounslow’s Return to Education Project, I implemented PBS interventions for CYPs with complex behaviours of concern to support their access to education and improving their quality of life. I worked collaboratively with CAMHS, social workers, school staff and parents to achieve outcomes for my clients.
I am currently working towards enrolling on the ABA PG programme that would help me fulfil the requirements to acquire a UKBA certificate.
I am looking to work in an environment that supports me in continuing my growth as a professional. I want to work independently and in collaboration with positive teams to achieve outcomes for my clients.
