I have over 5 years of working in sectors within the music industry. This experience includes administrative roles, such as a receptionist for a music school as well as a music manager for a university podcast Brunel Waves.

My experience also includes social media work, where I've directly run social media pages for clients, such as my university's official page for the music course. I have also managed multiple clients' social media pages during my work as a social media manager at Social Buzzing, where I used HootSuite to schedule and plan posts for multiple clients at once, engaging on platforms such as Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and Pinterest.

Roles within the music industry are where I thrive as I have a degree in Music from Brunel University London, where I achieved a first and received the Bob Gilmore Prize for Outstanding Work in Musicology, which was awarded to me for achieving the highest grade in the musicology module in my graduating year. I also have direct experience within the music industry, represented in my work as a studio assistant for composer Kuljit Bhamra MBE.

Spring 2022 Studio Assistant to Kuljit Bhamra MBE (part-time) Redfort Studio

• Completed session logs to ensure clarity within Logic Pro X files and to cater to each individual instrument
• Aided in logistical running of the studio
• Liaised with recording engineer to ensure that session logs were accurate – all logs being submitted to mastering engineers on time

Spring 2021 Social Media Account Manager (part-time) Social Buzzing

• Managed multiple customers’ social media profiles – Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram.
• Posted on their accounts; as well as retweeting, following relevant accounts, responding to direct messages
• Contacted clients via email and phone to discuss their business, ideas and strategy
• Tracked growth of the business’s profiles, suggesting ideas for growth strategies (e.g. SEO, giveaways, boosts and paid advertising)

• Communicated with parents of students and ensured they were happy with service
• Filed and sorted documents, managed payments via cash, card, cheque, bank transfer
• Dealt with intakes of 200+ students at the beginning of each academic year – all registrations being processed on time 
• Aided in logistics and organisation of bi-annual concerts held at local theatre
• Managed social media team – ensuring a successful and impactful social media presence

Over the last three years, I've completed modules in composing, musicology and performance. I have also contributed to many extracurricular activities tied to the music department such as helping organise and performing at the university's student-run showcase of arts, Arts at Artaud.
