My 6 years of design experience combined from university and my career shows that I am capable of using multiple design softwares and disciplines to create designs for different functions and audiences.

Design and Marketing Assistant - Sycous Limited

• Working as part of the commercial team to create printed and digital resources for others in the company as well as clients and customers.
• Writing blogs and social media posts usually aimed at customers.
• Editing and creating content on both the B2B and B2C websites using Craft CMS including SEO.
• Using Adobe XD to do UI design, Adobe InDesign to create documents such as catalogues, leaflets and posters. Using Adobe Illustrator to design images, diagrams and icons for a variety of uses across the company and Photoshop to edit any photography work.
• Using Trello for organisation of my own tasks and creating a calendar of when posts will be released on social media.
• Managing the company's Trustpilot page and responding to customer reviews and feedback.
• Liaising with others within the company as well as external clients and customers to create resources that may be used to help a variety of people including adjusting existing resources for vulnerable people.
• Helping with organisation of events for large and small groups including: setting up pages on Eventbrite, emailing other organisers with updates and booking locations for the events.

• Working as part of a small web development team with a Senior Developer, Copywriter and SEO specialist to improve the existing site for the online retail store.
• Learnt how to use Github for version control with my work.
• Editing, adding and removing products, categories and pages using WordPress.
• Doing content writing and other SEO work on the site.
• Using Figma to do UI design before coding out any bigger projects indirectly associated with the main website.
• Using Asana for organisation of tasks and checking progress on work from everyone in the team.

Web Developer - Leeds Beckett University

(2021-09 - 2021-09)

• Worked as part of the team to finish building the website for the 2021 End of Year Show in the last week before the site was due to go live.
• Learnt how to use Sitecore CMS to build pages and import various types of media into the website.
• Did lots of work with Excel spreadsheets which were used to organise the content for the pages and comparing them to what was on the pages as part of peer feedback as multiple checks were done on each page by at least 1 other person.
• Online teamwork with key colleagues and managers via Skype as each day was started with all colleagues getting their tasks for the day and having time to work on those.
