Seeking employment that will use my analytical skills in roles that require accuracy, attention to detail, efficiency and timely completion of tasks. I bring a range of experience through education and volunteering and am eager to keep learning new skills. I am IT literate and can be trusted to get on with the tasks at hand and recognise when help is needed to meet specific task deadlines. I am confident to work on my own initiative and as part of a team.

Volunteer at 4Louis (June 2023 – Present)

Since 2023, I have volunteered for 4Louis, including during my A-Level courses. My shifts at the charity have primarily been full time, however I have sometimes taken on more hours when assisting with fundraising events such as Wave of Light and charity balls. Throughout my time as a volunteer I have:

• Packed memory boxes to fit the consumer's needs. Whether this is differentiating between the almost twenty types of boxes they offer or adapting the contents to fit a bereaved family's situation, it is imperative to ensure accuracy when constructing them to avoid inflicting further pain.
• Picked and packed hospital orders. These can vary in size due to demand from various units such as early pregnancy and paediatric accident and emergency.
• Organised incoming and outgoing stock. Received products have to be put into their designated sections on the warehouse shelves to ensure all staff members can easily locate them.
• Booked stock in and out with any discrepancies between the number on the shelves and the number on the stock spreadsheet being reported to the operations manager.
• Prioritised orders according to urgency and stock availability.
• Welcomed new and repeat volunteers to the warehouse. This was primarily working alongside them, giving guidance on how to carry out tasks or answering questions about the charity.
• Labelled outgoing orders so they can reach their destination. This includes DPD and Royal Mail stickers as well as delivery notes and commercial invoices to tell customs and consumers what is contained in their shipment.
• Recorded data for other staff to have easy access and to decrease the volume of paperwork being needlessly stored around the office. The data recorded consisted of survey results and monthly statistics regarding outgoing stock.
