I am a 32-year-old engineer who is looking for an engineering job role in order to achieve working skills in any working environment to develop my role as a working individual. I am self-driven and able to adapt to a variety of working environments. I enjoy liaising with employees, planning, achieving or changing work specification in order to keep to a tight deadline.

I have worked all over the country from Scotland to London and have thoroughly enjoyed my working career. I am currently in full time employment and take home a basic salary of £41.500 a year plus over time. I have mainly covered roller shutter installations in the prison and football stadium environments using fire alarm systems to drop doors in the event of a fire.

I am currently working for a company that deals with the National Grid Sites following strict site rules and regulations to meet customer demand on repairing automated systems. To summarise I am looking for a role closer to home as I cover the whole of the UK currently. I am looking to develop my skills in the automation sector and look forward to hearing from you soon.

Every job consists of Compliance Risk Assessment, Method Statements Inspection Test Plans, Certificate of Compliance and asked to carry out assessment on Mewps and other survey forms if necessary. Due to family commitments at home I want to be working closer to home.

Lead Engineer - Tate Security Technology Ltd. - Wigan, WN3 6PX

Installation of single phase and 3 phase shutters with full commissioning, servicing and maintenance. I also survey jobs measuring and designing the best product for specific situations and customer needs. I was a lead engineer in this role and work tightly with a supervisor and a manager to meet company demand and deadlines.

I have dealt with rams, HRT’s, risk assessments, method statements and I am up to date with compliance and health and safety. I have experience with installing and maintaining barriers FAAC NICE. Industrial doors installation, PPM’s and surveying: SWS, Aluroll, Horman and others using GFA control units.

Fire shutters rated up to 4 hours usually working in kitchen areas to cover openings and connect them to alarm and close on activation using visual/audio panels ‘warning closing’. Sliding gates and pedestrian doors that are motorised and use BEA security systems lazers, Faac and BFT Photocells and safety edges to carry out maintenance tasks.

Cnc cutting on a 5 axis rotating machine. Lazer, waterjets, plasma and gas cutting/drilling/boring and machining. Cutting jobs for boilers, bridges, tanks and many other bespoke parts. Main contract cutting parts for JCB. I have received full training in Germany and was a senior operator in my department and provided training on cranes, tools and the machine for several other employees.
