I have 4 years experience in construction industry and studied Civil Engineering degree at university of Leeds and Masters in Transport Planning and Engineering.My grand father has always being involved in construction business and followed by my dad, now I want to follow my families path and I always enjoy working on the civil structure side of construction.my engineering skills is an understanding of how your actions can affect profitability of a project. EMPLOYMENT AND EXPERIENCES 

Site Engineer- Graham Construction (February 2020, On Going)

• GRAHAM has topped out at the University of York’s £130 million flagship student accommodation project. GRAHAM is using a state-of-the-art off-site manufacturing facility in the north of England to deliver the scheme, enhancing the quality, safety, and sustainability of the construction programme. Key elements of the development include modular external sandwich panels, prefabricated steel bathroom pods, and pre-assembled services distribution racks.
• Overall, the project comprises 18 blocks, which house the en-suite bedrooms and 200 living rooms/kitchens, plus 18,000 sq ft of steel frame social Hubs spread over two buildings.
• Part of the £130 million myself and 4 other engineers were running £30 million alone of the project which included 18 blocks.
• My daily task role was supervising on site, setting out for the block foundations, roads, footpaths, and drainage systems. My managing parts of construction projects: overseeing building work, undertaking surveys, setting out sites, checking technical designs and drawings to ensure that they are followed correctly, supervising contracted staff, ensuring project packages meet agreed specifications, budgets and/or timescales, traffic management plan, liaising with clients, subcontractors and other professional staff, especially quantity surveyors and the overall project manager, providing technical advice and solving problems on site, I was also preparing site reports and filling in other paperwork, liaising with quantity surveyors about the ordering and the pricing of materials, ensuring that health and safety and sustainability policies and legislation are adhered to.

Site Engineer Work Experience – Hemn Group (September 2019 to January 2020)

• Daily work with senior site engineers, to ensure the work is accomplished in a professional manner. My daily task role was supervising on site, setting out for the road foundations, roads, footpaths, and drainage systems.
• Certified that the highway materials are provided within its standards such as earthworks, steel, asphalt and concrete. 
• My other daily tasks with a help of senior engineer were that I was responsible for planning designing and supervising part of the project to keep the road network working efferently.
• As a site engineer, I was vital to a construction project with important responsibilities including solving technical issues on site by providing and managing on the site with the help of senior engineers. 

Civil Engineering Work Experience – Clancy Consulting (January 2019 to September 2019)

• This work experience allowed me to be involved in all stages of project design including preparing design calculations and drawings and highway projects (S38 and S278)
• I supported senior engineers in carrying out various tasks, which allowed me to develop my communication skills and team work as well as my Civil Engineering knowledge. 
• This role also allowed me to develop my confidence and technical skill in using 2D CAD, Hydrobrake and MicroDrainage.

ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE 

University of Leeds Institute of Transport Studies (September 2017 – September 2018)

• As part of my Masters programme I undertook a dissertation project which involved the redesign of a major roundabout in Leeds.
• This involved the use of the Linsig, Transyt and AutoCAD programmes to introduce signalisation and a hovering bridge to improve roundabout capacity and safety

This project allowed me to develop my knowledge of transport planning and engineering by understanding the real-world applications of the knowledge I have developed throughout my postgraduate studies.
