I have several years of experience in B2B writing, particularly under technical specifications in the AI industry. I also moonlight as a journalist and creative content writer.

I have worked for several years in the digital language industry, particularly for the artificial intelligence companies WeLocalize and TELUS International. Within these companies, I have worked a variety of different jobs, all of which centred on the intersection of language and technical specifications. I have worked as an AI content writer, a sensitive term researcher, many times as a language annotator and editor.

On the side, I have also blogged and written journalistic articles and highly creative fiction.

I have a first class degree in Philosophy and Linguistics from the University of Edinburgh and will soon hold a Masters degree in Russian, East European and Eurasian Studies from the University of Glasgow. Both courses were highly writing-intensive, and my training in linguistics is particularly pertinent to my writing style. This has made me an excellent editor, proofreader, and content writer, given my attention to grammatical structure.

Moreover, my education in linguistics and formal logic (through philosophy) contributed greatly to my literacy in tech. I consider myself now happily fluent in numbers, code, and words.
