• Key responsibilities for this position involved the preparation of customers' orders, using coffee machines; ensuring health and safety requirements were met; and management of cash and till work.
• This experience enabled me to interact with a variety of individuals: from forming friendships with co-workers to greeting and making conversations with customers. Through this, I was able to improve my communication and confidence skills which is essential for most job positions.
• Additional tasks included maintaining the cleanliness of the front and back of house of the store - for example, mopping the floors, removing rubbish from the bins, cleaning the tables and washing and sanitising equipment.

This position involved weekly visits to my local primary school where I had the responsibility of listening to and assisting primary school children with their reading.

• The this position, I was able to gain and improve upon several skills which consisted of communication and leadership
• The position required good communication with a diverse range of people - teachers as well as children. It was essential to approach students in a friendly, calm but also authoritative manner whereas I also had to take on a confident manner when communicating students' progress with the teachers.

• As a library volunteer, I was responsible for tasks such as sorting and organising books on shelves, ensuring accurate check-in and check-out processes, and assisting patrons with their inquiries.
• I also contributed to the creation of summer displays, where I was given the creative freedom to develop and implement ideas aligned with specific themes.
• Additionally, I supported the library's homework club during the school term, helping primary and secondary school students with their homework. This experience enhanced my communication skills as I interacted with a diverse group of students, building rapport with regular participants.
